Onan's Poem
I know that "ejaculate" is a verb denoting
a spirited reply in Victorian novels,
which is how I view this spillage
of my words onto this page.
I have no hopes of literary offspring.
My seed won't fall into any anthology
or even be remembered, but I continue
to push and pull just to know I'm still alive.
