Climate Emergency

The sirens are tuned
to their freak out frequency—

Go now

Before your house
goes up in flame

Get out
before the tires on your car
melt from the heat

Before fire turns the forest
albino with ash

Before the sun can sear the day
like a ribald dandelion
with its lion's teeth—

Go now

While there is still something
left to save.
